Here’s an upbeat little number to kick-start your October. I know how you all like something to groove along too, and if it’s Schlager inspired, even more so. Even more so if you add a sprinkling of Swedish-ness into the mix, and you’re probably katatonic now.
However, this is a fine Estonian song, performed with gusto by today’s birthday girl Sandra Oxenryd. In my opinion, Sandra was robbed when she couldn’t quite make it out of the semi-final back in Athens, with only six countries putting her in their top 10.
Sandra is 35 today.
