It’s not often that you encounter a Eurovision singer who performed three times as a named artist. Even rarer are thrice-performing artists who performed in three different decades. Today’s gentleman is in that exclusive club, and could even have performed again. Sadly he died in 2003.
It is of course Tommy Seebach Mortensen, who managed these three appearances in eight attempts. Two of his times on the big stage were with Debbie Cameron. We’ll pick a song for her next year, is it’s also her birthday today. But here is Tommy’s swansong.
