Further to our enquiry of the BBC’s jury Inst…., the following response has now been gained:
Aha! I’ve just double-checked and you are all QUITE right. The rules have changed since last year. The votes of our jury have to be submitted by midnight on both Monday night (for SF1) and Friday night (for the Final) – so they’ll be watching and judging on the live feed, not a taped recording of the live feed. Sorry for any confusion!
Firstly, no the rules haven’t changed, but hey its not for me to contradict the BBC, and secondly I’m undedicated and don’t have a significant reach to know the rules better than they do!! – It’s a gift you know!!
