A smoulder and a fiddle for Belarus

Uzari and Maimuna now for Belarus. Now this boy can sing (and smoulder) and this girl can pretend to play the violin like the best of them.

We were in the arena for one of their run throughs (cue whoops of excitement to see the stage for the first time). I wish this song stayed in the verse, it starts off very well but then the chorus seems to take the song on a slightly cheap direction, one we’ve been on with varying countries over the years.

This is so last decade musically though I rather like it. I thought from the clip ettes that the backdrop was uninspired, it’s a little more than that but it really does look like the Belarusian artistic director just got flummoxed (auto correct just auto corrected that to climaxed, blimey, this laptop is intelligent, it’s getting to know its owner!)

He or she just said we can have a few swirls there and a splash of colour there and that’ll be fine. Visually meh but there’s some nice interaction with Maimuna on the fiddle. I think Belarus is borderline at best.
