Well some in the OnEurope team likened this to a kdam entry circa 1982.. however *I* love this song. Claudia Beni, the thinking mans Nigella Lawson, comes out onto stage and well… perfoms significantly better than in the DORA.
Mind you her throat has cleared up since then and her hair has flattened. She doesnt look 16, but rather bout 27. This is another choreography fest.. indeed this IS the 80’s coming back.
The song goes into English midway through it, which AGAIN takes some of the sharpness away. The orange stage ( presumably to match her hair) fits perfectly, unlike the English.
She seems vocally OK… there are a few wobbles, but it is the first day of the rehearsals so we can forgive her that. She’ll have to be at her best though to fight herway through the mass of songs surrounding her… Also watch for the Male AND Female eye-candy in this one!!!
