I’ve just heard the French sound check (not even the real rehearsal) and I’ve got goose bumps. No Eurovision performance has ever had this effect on me. Patricia Kaas is amazing. She cuts to the chase and just sings her song very powerfully with no stupid flags or cog gimics, no distracting flashing lights and no silly choreography. The song speaks for itself and outclasses anything I have seen in this contest for many a year. If it’s not the winner, then justice is rough in Eurovisionia.
I’ve seen the full run through and I’m suddenly very emotional. This is this year’s real wow moment! 🙂
