Latvia … still as funny as …

Laura Rizzotto

<insert your own punchline>

To me, and this is clearly only my opinion, Laura doesn’t have the facial expressions or the kind of voice to carry this song off. She looks like the horsey type and (again in my opinion) the song tends to feel like a three-minute whine set to music.

It’s a long old three minutes that Laura spends on a song that I really can’t get behind, and when she goes into the high part of the song at about 2:10, it feels like something tacked on because the writers didn’t know what else to put there.

I appreciate it’s supposed to convey someone who feels weak and vulnerable, but the overall impression that this song is missing something.

Press conference

In her own words:I do write songs usually from personal stories, but the muses of the story don’t know about it, and I want to keep it that way. That way people can also make it their own and relate to it.
