It seems this winning the Eurovision Song Contest malarky isn't the bad thing that its cracked up to be. The usually shy and reserved Czech Republic (no, not Czechia ... that's silly) has decided, after a few years of trying, to ...well ... try. Broadcaster CT has given us a national final.

The national final website, promotes an internet-only final, where you can vote by downloading an app. Users get to vote, giving their favourite song eight points, then six, four and so on down to a single point for the sixth-placed hopeful.  The jury (who appear as literal shadowy figures on the website) get the same scoring system. Combine the two and you get a winner.

Those lovely Czechs have also given us a playlist on YouTube - g'wan  you know you want to!
