At the opposite end to yesterday’s birthday, there are countries who have never made a Grand Final. Well, two countries that have never been in a Saturday night final. It’s not for the want of trying.
I’m talking about the Czech Republic of course. Perhaps 2016 could be their year, as they made good progress in Vienna.
One of those singers, the funny, yet slightly feisty Marta Jandová has a tendency to throw her shoes around, which is her ‘thing’ and a bit of a hit in Prague apparently. If she threw her shoes at me, I wouldn’t argue with her at all. Marta is 42 today.
