And-orra to the wonning?? I should possibly think so

Andorran pop group Anonymous at the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest

Phil: Much to my shock, this has everything. Nice boys singing a grungy song, 3/4 length trousers, shouting OI in all the right places and not confusing it with LIMITED in Finnish – It has all the elements of a good song rammed together in a 3 minute package – and that shocks me.. What shocks me more is that it goes down well in the hall with “the journalists” – although that could be because of their age and the fact they are male!! Seriously, it has been well performed and well staged with the backgrounds and the introduction sounds like the Vodafone tune and the Catalan bits even work!

Nick: Oooh, NOW then. I feared the worst here because frankly I always do with Andorra, but this is actually just plain fab. In the real world, this would look a bit ordinary and identikit McFlyiness, but in this context it’s a blast of “bloody hell!”. The set’s a bit busy with lots of numbers flying around, but I suppose it should be… he’s a bit flat in the quiet bit, but I suppose he should be… I do believe ATV have got the hang of this thing… I’m not so sure that we shouldn’t be checking out the hotel in Andorra La Vella before anyone else books the room.

Hacksaw: First solid betting tip. Get some beef on Andorra. For all its cute punkiness it’s just gone down enormously well with everyone in the hall. They’re well likable, bouncy and follow a whole raft of serious minded clever clever pop. It’s 30-1 to win the semi and sixties for the final – but they’re bound to drop rapidly after the rehearsal I’m watching right now. Each ways on this could pull you some tasty figures. I’m still not convinced of a win in the final, but it’ll pull in some votes. Get ye to Betfair now!
