As you’ll know, five countries that used to be in Yugoslavia are taking part in this year’s bunfight in Kyiv. They have a variety of styles, from the schizofrenic to the downright innuendo-laden. It wasn’t always like this. Yugoslavia encompassed a whole mix of things, and luckily people from most of the different modern nations sang for it in its time. Today’s birthday girl Зорана ‘Лола’ Новаковић/Zorana ‘Lola’ Novaković sadly died last year, but she came from what is now Serbia. See what you think of this gem from 1962.
