I’m back from a brief hiatus. I was out on manoeuvres deep in the countryside, on a special mission. It all went well if you’re interested. But you’re not here to hear about my findings, you’re here for a song. And what a song. It’s strange that a country enters a corker of a song one year, and people don’t want it to win because of the country it’s from. Then, the next year, they enter a feebler song that the fans love because they want to do interesting things to that feebler song’s singer’s knees.
But what’s today’s song? It’s from birthday girl Полина Сергеевна Гагарина/Polina Sergeyevna Gagarina, and was the runner-up in Vienna. It is a great song.
Polina is 30 today.
