You know that thing when you’re waiting ages for a bus and then two come along at once? Or, when you were at school, you turned up at show-and-tell with this unique thing, only to find out half the class had come up with the same unique thing?
In the world of Eurovision, something like this happened in 2015. Two countries chose songs. Very different songs. One was a ballad and one an aggressive three minutes of pent-up angst. One of these songs came from today’s birthday girl ნინო (სულაბერიძე) სუბლატი/Nino (Sulaberidze) Sublatti. Needless to say it did better than the ballad. But would you argue with her?
