I’ve gone all random today. It’s only because not one Eurovision performer (to my knowledge anyway) has a birthday on 29 November. And this means you’ll be drooling at the choice I’ve carefully selected.
I often like home entries. I say often, because some of them are more likely to go into the ‘maybe’ pile. Like this one. Poor old Eddie Friel had a mountain to climb in 1995. His little nation had had three wins in a row, so the pressure was on. Was he a deliberate attempt to ‘throw’ the contest? Or was he hard done by? What do you think?
