We don’t hear enough French these days at Eurovision. If you’ve been watching the contest for as long as I have, French used to dominate. Then over time that pesky English language started to get a stranglehold on the competition. If you’re like me, you’ll like a mix of tongues and maybe think that the contest loses its charm when people sing in (questionable) English.
So to redress that balance here’s a Canadian, eh, who sang for France (in French, naturally) and now does her thing in plucky little Belgium.
Natasha is 36 today.
Bonne anniversaire, Natasha!
