Parmesan. I sometimes wonder why people go by a stage name that’s different from their real name, eh Massiel? What’s wrong with going on stage as María de los Ángeles Felisa Santamaría Espinosa? Or Mr Lordi, why couldn’t you just be plain old Tomi Petteri Putaansuu? |I know I’ve picked two winners there, but it’s gone on as long as the contest. Even Lys Assia is just an ordinary Rosa Mina Schärer. I suppose the stage name can be catchy and, if things go wrong, you can always pick another one and forget the previous one existed.
Today’s birthday boy Tomas Christiansen goes by the stage name N’evergreen. My question to him is: Why? Is it that there are hundreds of people with that name in Denmark? Does he have a thing for negative spruce trees? If you know, tell us. We’d love to know.
N’evergreen is 48 today.
Tillykke med fødselsdagen, n’evergreen!
