Do you ever think that some songs were in Eurovision in the wrong era? That ballad that languishes in the semi-final would have gone down a storm in earlier times when juries picked the winner? Or that carefully written song that juries love now only picks up a scattering of points from the televoters. So when you look at some of Greece’s entries over the years, you might think the same.

Mariza is 73 today.
