Do you remember all those second places? The second man on the moon for example? Or the second man to break 10 seconds for 100 metres? No? Well Eurovision might be a different thing. Any Eurovision fan worth their blueberry soup should know most of the songs that finished second in our favourite TV show. Some of us think that, on occasion, those runners-up should have won instead. I think that should have happened in 1990. Yeah, I know there were joint runners-up that year, but I think today’s birthday boy Liam Reilly’s song should perhaps have had the edge. Liam is 61 today.
