We’re back, missus!

Phew. What a relief. The UK delegation were heading off for an afternoon of Passion, while we were doing Peace. That’s lucky. We went round the Nobel peace museum, then had a boat trip around the Oslo, then climbed up the outside of the Opera House, then went into the oak forest (which has very few oaks, though it has the pines, the elms, the larches, the ashes, the birches, the chestnuts, the larches, the elms and the larches) for Fanta and cake. Bizarrely, everyone else decided to have the proffered coffee, but other free beverages were available.

We also were fortunate to have a genuinely lovely tour guide, except that she seemed to hate the entire city of Oslo. We are not sure why they put the lovely new opera house here, because the area’s shit was not a million miles away from being a direct quote. She was delightful though, and a great host for the trip.

Anyway, we’ve missed a dress rehearsal this afternoon, and so we have a direct and important question of critical importance to ask of any artists or composers or other important people who may have been taking part and be now reading this back in the press centre. Can you let us know what they’re serving for dinner in the cafe this evening, so we can decide whether to eat there before the evening show or dine in before we go out?

Love you all, byeeee! 🙂
