Here we are again…

…happy as can be, all good friends and jolly good company!

Yep, Malmo greets us like a welcoming aunt, and we’re all crammed into a lovely red cinema room watching a screen with big words covering the people singing. We’re not shifting to the press centre proper until the second round of rehearsals, so many of the fanboys are whinging about the facilities, already.

But of course, to we professionals, this is still better than anything we get in our day-to-day lives, so I think it’s rather cosy!

The city is lovely, from what we’ve seen so far, everything is one stop from where you are on the train and bus, and it’s a proper lovely Spring morning!

Ooh, and there’s been some songs. All by lost looking young girls singing songs they don’t care about in frocks they didn’t choose.

Eurovision 2013 is go! Huzzah!

I wish to reassure the General Public that he did NOT censor himself, sadly his HTML decided to – how can i put this, “bollox itself up” – normal, insofar as how normal we are, service will resume presently.

Back here in sunny, warm Blighty, Bonnie Tyler was on good form on this morning’s Lorraine show. She’s sticking with the whole ‘I can only do my best’ schtick. Best moment though, was when she exhorted us all: “Don’t go to your hairdresser for botox, see a proper doctor”. Wise words indeed.
