I am happy to report that the cafeteria’s lõunasöök is very very good. Myself and some cohorts – undercover of course – had the Sicilian meatballs for a bargain price of 80 Danish things. The pleasant workers even brought it to our tables, and then brought us some leftover bread from the breakfast ‘rush’ that made perfect mopping up material. I am a happy well-fed Riigi.
We’re nearly there too. Ukraine’s very young Mariya Yaremchuk is a little overshadowed by a guy of athletic proportions in a giant wooden hamster ball. You know the sort of thing – little snuffles runs around in it all day and all night. It’s the sort of thing that drives you insane. Well, said man runs, tumbles and generally arses about in it. She sings at him, but you pay no attention because you’re concentrating on what stunt he’ll pull next. The same thing happened to Mika Newton. You didn’t look at her, you just watched her mother playing in a sand pit. Ukraine has missed a trick.
Finally today, we have the unique Axel Hirsute. Well, his chinny-chin chin is anyway. He only has his mature widow gesticulating away behind him. His has a good voice. But it’s just schmaltz, schmaltz, schmaltz. And then some. Are all the mothers watching on a Tuesday night going to vote for him because it’s what they want their children to think of them? Will these mothers insist their kids vote for this? Will it bring out the Œdipus complex in some viewers? I have absolutely no idea. I’ll get off the fence now.
We have all liked today I think. We’ve had cake which I can confirm is darn scrummy. We will probably head back to Copenhagen soon. Have fun, and I hope you enjoyed today.
Love ya
