Parg – Survivor
At the risk of sounding like a colonial-era phonetics professor: if you’re going to sing in English, at least try to sound like you’ve met one. Parg’s entry has all the hallmarks of a song cobbled together from Eurovision workshop offcuts—anthemic chorus, gratuitous ethnic break, a refrain that sounds like it’s meant to be shouted across a battlefield—but none of the structural integrity.
The English lyrics teeter between meaningless and mildly offensive to the concept of language, and the whole thing is topped with the kind of motivational platitudes that might get rejected from a corporate retreat PowerPoint.
A mess, and not in a fun way.
