Woo-hoo! It’s duo time today. That delicious mix of two singers. Well, it’s delicious when they do work together. Or it could be a potential car crash. Either way, there’s usually at least one singer that works, even if the other won doesn’t.
Today’s birthday girl Elina Born was paired up with Stig Rästa in 2015. He’d written the song but couldn’t manage it alone. So along comes Elina with one of those show-stopping performances. Was she really angry with Stig, or was it all for show? Was she really crying, or again was it all for show? It most definitely worked as they breezed through their semi-final and finished seventh in the Grand Final. Anyway, in this duo, it was definitely a delicious mix of two singers who could work together. It’s one of those performances you’ll want to watch again and again.
