There is a problem here. In fact, there are many many problems here I don’t know where to start!
Kasey wanders aimlessly around the huge stage and looks completely lost – She doesn’t know where the camera is and is looking around too much – The backing is, as I said in the countdown, Celtic and unnecessary.
Then we have the backing dancers that are wearing skirts and doing diddly dai, the bodhran player is not believing it and, to be honest, the whole performance is just not believable. Kasey does not seem to believe any word she is singing and is not performing, she’s counting the beats of the “choreography” in her head and you can almost see her counting to eight.
This is unrecoverable. They are fighting for 1 place, the 10th place but I am struggling to see who it is going to beat. Georgia? (yes) – but thats about it. The performance needs some serious surgery in order for it to get any higher.
Above all,though, she needed confidence, She needed to have gone to Amsterdam and London – She didn’t and it shows.
