Israel – side stepping back into contention

Well I am now sat here with my Cold Gala water among the great and the good of Europe’s “Press” (ahem) who apparently are getting excited about the timings of commercial breaks. It’s a slow news day in Eurovisionia today!!

In the real news, we missed Montenegro – well all but his last 3 minutes and I was unimpressed to say the least. He still gets slapped around the face – which is good – and he still looks like Carlos Tevez – which is bad…

It’s a MOR song that will not set people on fire.

Moving on to Israel…..

It is better – mind you, it couldn’t have got much worse IMHO. The backing dancers, for what they are, have got their act together and it now looks typically Israeli towards the end with the strutting and coming together for the end of the song at the front of the catwalk.

To me, he still seems to be straining to get any of the vocals done but it is said that it looks better – and that in itself is something I guess.
