This is highly thought of in some circles, mainly fan polls but I can’t really see why. Or perhaps I mean that I do understand why as anything that wins that is surely as dead as an Irish turkey with Christmas approaching. It’s competent enough as she warbles away draped in blue with 3 backing singers and two guys on instruments to the side. They even indulge in some Israeli style choreography and lift their hands into the air but it’s as dull as a Cypriot press conference really and I think is going to get lost in the pack. Hopefully anyway!
Summary of the day. Truth be told I’ve only really seen one song out of 9 which I think is a definite qualifier and that’s Azerbaijan. There’s a couple that might surprise like San Marino and Estonia, but the action for Semi 1 is coming tomorrow and really semi 2 is where it’s all at. As if we didn’t know that already….
