Norwegian Monsters

Norway is probably my favourite this year. I adore the dark ambiguity of it. This is well staged, with a single steadicam shot for almost two minutes, but it’s missing the camera circling around them like we saw in the Norwegian final. Will this be a mistake? Instead both are just walking about during this bit and it may be losing some of its impact. Vocally this is still great, and they look wonderful in white, setting off Deborah’s shock of red hair. Oh I so want this to do well… I think it’s one of the best song’s the Contest has ever had.
