Morning! – and Poland

Phil: Isis Gee is on the monitors at the moment (they have fixed the sound in the press centre and it is perfect!!) – Apparently, she is having problems with her in ear monitors at the moment, something that plagued a couple of singers at the back end of yesterday it seems.

This is, clearly, the best thing I have seen in two days – even though it is clearly “Where does my heart beat now?” by Celery Dion, It is full of dry ice and pianolas on stage and it looks fantastic on the screens. – She has not hit a bum note considering she can not hear herself and, at this rate, she is going through quite easily, though she has to watch out for the teeth on stage, they may dazzle you!!

Nick: In a respectful, caring, and yet patently biassed way, I can’t bloody ABIDE Isis Gee. She’s like Annet Artani without the promise of Severine Ferrer to follow. She annoys me. Her song annoys me. Poland are usually great and don’t qualify. Europe, don’t make my Saturday Week 2 a total misery… it is, of course, perfectly nice if you like that kind of thing. I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned, but I don’t!
