The Eurovision Dance Contest has started six months early … I can see this going down extremely well in the UK! There’s a bit of ‘Osten Med Resten’, a bit of the theme from ‘Strictly Come Dancing‘, and a lot of entertainment value.

Sabrina‘s performance ticks all my Eurovision boxes, it’s lively, its sung well, it’s uptempo, it has ladies waving fans, it has a final chorus in three languages including English.
It also has a major advantage, there is movement – something that has been sadly lacking in the last day and a bit – principally because people think that you need to be static to qualify – hopefully Europe will see this as something different and think “actually no – you don’t“.
Sabrina performed the arse off the song and she looks good – and I’m happy with it!
The fans on stage worry me though, but with the Latin beat, I understand why they are there! Well done RTP.
