Russia goes Little Big at Eurovision 2020

Little big

After much fan speculation – mostly on which bundle of male talent show hormones in skinny jeans was absolutely certain to be Rotterdam bound – public broadcaster C1R has named punk-pop-rave band Little Big as their entry for the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest.

Although details of the song remain a secret, Russia quickly raced back up the odds, returning to its usual top three spot.

Little Big hail from St. Petersburg and consists of members Ilya Prusikin, Sonya Tayurskaya, Anton Lissov and Sergey Makarov.

Eurovision.tv assures me ‘The group represents a scalding cocktail of absurdity combined with powerful punk-pop-rave music and is currently ruling Russian and European dance floors.’

By all accounts, they’re huge on the kid-friendly headache app TikTok, so if attention spans are not your thing, you’re in for a treat.

We get to hear their song on 5 March.
