So Day 3 in the Big Brother house takes the viewing audience back to 2004 to watch Lane Moje … Oh, wait … no it isn’t. There are several notes in a different order, therefore it must be Željko Joksimović‘s latest missive.
As has been well documented on here, I often don’t get Balkanised songs – and this is another one of those. It is every big bad Balkan song that has come third in Eurovision ever.
It could be argued that Joksimović is turning into a bit of a Balkan Ralph Siegel.
It’s competently performed and his voice is spot on for 11am in the morning. It does everything you would expect a Željko song to do – there are big dramatic overblown mournful instrumental breaks and everyone looks terribly serious.
It will qualify with ease and probably come somewhere between third and sixth in the final but … it bores me, and therefore makes me ask if viewers will feel the same.
That said the juries will la-la-love it.

I thought I was the only one, but not anymore! It’s boring! It is!
