Switzerland has surprised me greatly

It’s not awful. I never thought it was if the truth be told, but at least I can prove that its not that bad a song. It is a total contrast to that which has gone before, and in a totally good way. If ever you needed proof that the Eurovision is semi-silly followed by good, the last six minutes have proved it.

Even though she sings in a Kaleidoscope, it all looks simple and effective with her and her two backing singers, much like the Swiss national final all those months ago and at that point I thought it was good, and my mind hasn’t changed much now. She sounds as though she has hit all of the notes in the right order, which is good and this should get through.
