And amongst it all, today’s birthday girl Σοφία Βόσσου/Sophia Vossou (née Σοφία Παπαευγαγγέλου/Sophia Papaeuaggeliou). Not wanting to be outdone, her performance was memorable. But not necessarily for her singing prowess. No, if you watch the orchestra’s saxophonist, he steals the show. But enough of that. Sophia finished 13th, and in true tradition, got 10 points from Cyprus. Hang on, only 10? It must have been the saxophone.
