Lithuanian TV has moved on a stage in its 2020 Eurovision Song Contest selection process. It’s time for the semifinals, with viewers and a jury voting on the 18 songs that qualified from the first phase.
In a strange, some might say planned and fixed, draw – the two so-called favourites – The ROOP and Aistė Pilvelytė found themselves performing in the same nine-song heat. As expected, both qualified, but as you can see from the results below, the televote wasn’t even close and the jury broke the tie, awarding Aistė first place.
