D-Moll wins Montevizija. Has the plan gone to hell?

So the question on everyone’s lips: was this final meant to end very differently? Why do I say that? Well-informed rumour has it that it was pre-ordained that Andrea Demirović would win this contest.

Except she didn’t.

RTCG put on a national final with Andrea and four other ‘making up the numbers’ singers competing for the prize. There were two rounds of voting. The first combined jury and viewer votes. The top two went through to a final where the winner was picked based on televotes alone.

Keen Eyed Eurovisionistas will recall Andrea sung for Montenegro back in Moscow in 2009. She performed “Just get out of my life” – and just when you thought she had, the public of Crna Gora did the unthinkable and brought her back. And promptly threw her under a bus.
