OK, so there are other songs, and they’ve all been pretty good today, actually.
Russia looks like a real contender. He’s confident without being too posey, or stilted, there’s enough choreography to keep the eye entertained without it being too obtrusive, and some bird pops out of a piano. Me likey.
Turkey’s looking a lot of fun, and although she doesn’t seem too confident about some of the more acrobatic dance moves, I fancy this to pick up nuff pointage here and there.
Ukraine’s blimmin’ brill too. A bit more kitchen sink than the last pair, with skipping, shirt shedding, dervishing and all sorts of leaping about, but it’s all done in good fun, and was my fave of the week so far – up until Lordi.
Press conference for the flying Finns coming up next. Will they grunt or will they speak? Who can say, but it’ll be ace whatever the heck!
