Albina has a more controlled hairstyle, but it doesn’t mean she doesn’t spend three minutes flicking it hither and thither.
For me, the choreography comes across as ponderous and the vocals shouty. I’d also suggest she’s not actually moving her lips a good deal during the chorus today – though maybe that’s going to change for Tuesday night. The song is what it is. A dated portion of Eurovision pie.
It requires around eighty points to make the grand final, and something tells me three minutes of wearing very little, flipping your mane and stomping your feet isn’t going to get them.
The Fanning Verdict
There’s nothing wrong as such, it’s just not the strongest song on offer. Someone has to miss out. Close but no cigar.
