Caipirinhas and curry!

Caipirinhas

Good morning OnEurope! It’s a bright Monday morning here in Lisboa although still a little fresh (fresquinho) if we are honest. My local friends say it should be ten degrees warmer at the end of April and the start of May but hey ho.

Talking of the start of May, tomorrow is a public holiday here as it’s May Day so trying to have that supposed quiet night is going to be tough.

Last night was curry for dinner at a delicious spot called Bengal Tandoori, Rua da Alegria, 23 where a two-course Indian dinner washed down with lashings of wine, coffees and macieira brandy was less than 20 euros. Then several caipirinhas in Bar 106 and an Uber home around midnight so that’s night number three with only about five hours sleep and the energy levels are still low.

Let’s see what day two brings.
