Eurovision 2018 – Everything we said about day four

Aws stage dive
Crowd surfing Hungarian style

Powered by noodles, beer and pastéis de nata, the OnEuropeans reported back from the Altice Arena for a fourth day. The last nine semi-final acts took to the stage today. We had ‘real rock’, flames-aplenty and more neon tubes than you’ll find in a small branch of B&Q. All in all, it was ‘very Eurovision’. Here’s how the Lads in Lisbon saw things.

Day 4 summary(and apologies if I keep repeating myself):

Georgia – lovely song, lovely vocals but it gets lost amount the noise going around it.

Poland – Somehow the staging doesn’t match the song. And the whole DJ thing is not working.
Nazis reference number 3..pffff

Malta – Some thinks the staging is just fabulous and help the songs. Other think quite the opposite. It’s all depend whose opinion mater to you.

Hungary – Noisy, very noisy, but has great movement and staging that fit the song.

Latvia – She is great, the song not so much.

Sweden – Copy of MF. Slik and boring. Very Swedish.

Montenegro – Balkan ballad by inches. Odd choice of Fashion.

Slovenia – A stop in the middle of he song is never a good thing. It ruins the structure and ruin your chances.

Ukraine – The Eurovision Horror Picture show. A strange staging which has nothing to do with the song.

That’s all folks 🙂
