The lovely Jennifer is not, sadly, all that lovely. I had hopes for Andorra, ’tis a lovely song, but it’s neither looking nor sounding great on stage at this point. Jenny aborted her first four attempts before the end of the first chorus, and the first full runthrough rather disintegrated. Being OnEurope, you will be expecting offensive parallels to be drawn here, and indeed they look a bit like the Chelmsford branch of Barclays Bank’s annual karaoke night. Go on Jen, ‘ave a go! The rest of the girls do the kind of seaty dance that worked for Tose a couple of years ago, but isn’t really doing it here. The big girl’s not to the wonning on this scorecard.
