From the video from Luke and the guys at ESCDaily, she seems to be terribly out of tune, almost bordering on the ear-splittingly bad. It seems to be rather lackluster in its performance and even the fact that Kati knows where the camera is doesn’t help because, and this is the killer, its a song contest, right, about singing, yeah?! – and clearly as it stands at the moment, the fact that she can’t do it live, as we all feared, is making me doubt this song.
If she gets her act together, though, it could do it, but based on what I have seen and read, it’s going to have to get a lot better, a lot quickly in order to do what it has the potential to do.
