You must remember French. No, not Nicki, but the language. It used to dominate until not so long ago, when those little imps at the EBU allowed a free language rule again. It’s all English now, in a variety of perplexing accents. But we should remember that there are some excellent French songs out there, including the one from today’s birthday girl Lara (Crockaert) Fabian. She’s a little confused nationally, being Belgian-Canadian eh, and singing for Luxembourg. It just shows some people will do anything to sing in Eurovision.
