Another week, and another birthday. In keeping with début entries, here’s another one, from that behemoth of a contest in 1994. No fewer than seven countries debuted in a Saturday night final, and it was the last contest to be broadcast in April.
But which song have I picked? It’s the one by someone, described by some as a sun-dried tomato. A little harsh, as I’ve never seen a tomato that particular colour. It is of course Мария Львовна ‘Юдифь’ Кац/Maria Lvovna ‘Youddiph‘ Katz.
