Decades, decades, decades. They come and go so quickly. We’ve had the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s and so we hit the 1990s today. Another fine decade, with a whole new bunch of countries joining the party, and one rejoining after a 16 year absence.
It’s that rejoining country I’ve picked today, with three-time entrant and birthday girl Chiara Siracusa. As you know, she comes from the Mediterranean’s happiest rock and almost won. If it wasn’t for a certain pesky country voting last. Still, she came back with mixed success, but is still a force to be reckoned with when it comes to the slushy ballad. Here’s her finest hour three minutes.
Chiara is 41 today.
Happy birthday/Għeluq sninek it-tajjeb, Chiara!
