It’s not often we get to celebrate a birthday of someone who’s not only performed in our favourite TV show, but also hosted one. Yes, I know, we have done in the past, but we just don’t do it everyday. Just to make that clear. Now our friends in Bulgaria sometimes get overlooked when it comes to this. They’re one of those ‘unfashionable’ nations that some fans don’t gush over. Those fans can be a little harsh as they sometimes don’t know what;s good for them. And that’s the case with Поли Генова/Poli Genova. Her song was a good old rock-chick number in 2011. It developed a bit of a following, but unfortunately not enough to break out of the semi-final. Poli is 29 today.
