So we had a Luxemburger yesterday, we have a representative from another dormant Eurovision nation today. Which of these former participants would you like to see come back? I would wager that the Slovak Republic isn’t high on people’s lists, maybe because they’re not fashionable. I made it to Bratislava during the Vienna-fest (but don’t tell my real boss) and really liked the place. It reminded me of other pleasantly quiet places. So if the head of RTVS is reading this, come back soon. Back in 1998, our Slovak friends entered a song, sung by Katarína Hasprová that may sound a little like Scarborough Fare. It sadly wasn’t quite as popular. Katarína is 43 today.
