ESC birthdays 25/4 – How could I ever refuse writing for Oneurope?

From time to time, a major moment in history comes along. Some of us manage to witness it. Others were far too young and far too far away to take in what was happening. So it was that on e certain spring night in the 1970s, six people walked into a stage in a venue by the sea, and sang a little song about a place in Belgium. Four of these people had a few hit records in the following years. So in a break with tradition, I’ve picked a national final performance of the song I’m describing. One of the people on stage was a man called Björn Kristian Ulvaeus. He wrote a few songs in his time. Björn is 70 today.

Grattis på födelsedagen, Björn!
