What’s your favourite ever prop? A big fruit stone perhaps? A transparent globe? A fairground organ? There are so many highlights in this category it’s difficult to know where to start. However, there are those props that contain someone. Remember the special box used by Ukraine in 2003? The one where the contortionist span around and around and around…? Or in a variation on that theme is the transparent box with a ‘dancer’ in it. That’s right, I’m referring to Farid Mammadov’s perceived alter ego when he was runner-up. It’s possible that that box is the king of props. But what do you think? Farid is 24 today.
