A long time ago, our favourite TV show was held in Vienna. It was a formal, civilised affair where there was polite applause for all the songs. Our hostess was very earnest and took things very seriously. I suspect proceedings won’t be quite the same in Vienna next year. Mary-Pierre ‘Minouche’ Barelli represented Monco with a song written by her dad and Serge Gainsbourg. Sadly, she died in 2004. Minouche would have been 67 today.
