You must remember Malta? The Mediterranean’s happiest rock? Junior Eurovision? Pastizzi and Cisk? You remember now? Good. Well they once fell out of love with Europe’s favourite TV show. For a mammoth 16 years they pulled out. The reason might be due to an interesting song in 1975 from Nazzareno Alessandro Micallef Garrett, better known as Renato. Note to self: tassles on sleeves don’t work. Renato is 63 today.
